This pilot develops an AI-enabled case-based simulator aligned with surgical curricula. It allows registrars to practise clinical scenarios, receive structured feedback, and strengthen decision-making skills in a safe environment. By supporting rather than replacing surgical educators, this project shows how AI can enhance training while upholding professional standards.

Incidental pancreatic cysts (IPMNs) are increasingly identified on imaging, yet most require careful surveillance rather than intervention. This pilot explores an AI-assisted decision-support tool that combines radiologic pattern recognition with guideline-based risk assessment. The aim is not to replace surgical judgement, but to provide an extra layer of clarity in complex decision-making, helping surgeons manage surveillance safely and efficiently.

Rib fractures are common in trauma, but assessing severity and determining management pathways can be resource-intensive, particularly in rural and military settings. This pilot applies AI-assisted image interpretation to classify fractures and support triage decisions.
